How do I buy a new phone number?

Description: You would like to buy a new phone number to assign to a seat/callflow or reserve for future use.


Step 1: Log in to your Ooma Enterprise account as the admin.

Step 2: Hover over Hosted PBX and select Callflows from the dropdown.

Step 3: Select the designated callflow from the list on the left.

Step 4: At the top of the callflow, click Click to add number.

Step 5: Click Buy Numbers.

Step 6: Type in the desired area code you'd like and click Search.

If no results are returned, you may need to click search again.
If you are unable to find your preferred area code, reach out to our support team for assistance.

Step 7: Select the number(s) you'd like to purchase and click Add.

Step 8: Upon clicking Add, you will be brought back to the Add a Number box. Select the number you just purchased from the drop down and click Add.

Step 9: At the top of the callflow, click Save Changes.

Your number is now active and ready to go! 

You can also buy new numbers from the Numbers Manager app using the instructions starting from step 6.
