Adding a new Extension

1. Go to the Ooma Enterprise Admin Portal

2. Hover your Mouse over the "Hosted PBX" option and then Click on Extensions

3. Click on CREATE EXTENSION

4. Type the users First Name

5. Type the users Last Name

6. Type the users Email address

7. Click on an available phone number from the Phone Number drop down. If one is not available add a number first before continuing by "Buying" a new number from the Phone Numbers tab at the top of the screen.

If you want this person's outbound caller ID to display this telephone number instead of the main line number for the account check the "Use phone number as outbound caller ID" checkbox.

8. Type the extension you want assigned to this user.

9. Type the voicemail PIN to be associated to this user

10. Click on the appropriate timezone from the Timezone drop down

11. Click on Save

12. Click on Go to Extension to continue editing the user, including adjusting the call flow or adding devices to this user.
