Advanced Analytics - Dashboards - Creating a New View

Description: The purpose of this article is to provide a detailed overview of the process for creating Views through the Dashboards section of Ooma Enterprise Advanced Analytics.

Once you are within the "Dashboards" section of Advanced Analytics, navigate to the top panel on the displayed wallboard. 

Click on the View Selector to open the dropdown menu, and from there, choose the "Create New View" option.

Upon selecting the "Create New View" option, a pop-up dialog menu will appear on the right-hand side of the window. This menu allows you to set the basic parameters of the newly created View. 

• Name: here you can set the name for the newly created View. 
• Display options: there is only one parameter that configures the positioning of Stat Tiles on the Dashboard.

• Anchor tiles to the top: enabling this option will cause all created Stat Tiles to be anchored at the top of the configured Dashboard.

Disabling this option allows you the flexibility to position your Stat Tiles anywhere you want on the Dashboard.

• Color palette: the Dashboard uses a combination of color settings to control the colors of tiles. Here is a list of available color options:

• Default

• Forest

• Metro

• High Contrast

• Use dark mode: when the checkbox is selected, the Dashboard will be displayed with a dark color scheme, which is ideal for low-light environments or for users who prefer a darker interface. If the checkbox is not selected, the Dashboard will use the default or light color scheme.

Themes can be modified as needed, and it is possible to use custom colors to override themes on specific Stat Tiles. By default, when a new Stat Tile is added to a View, it adopts a color from the selected theme. If the color palette is changed on a View, all Stat Tiles that use one of the theme's standard colors will be automatically updated to reflect the changes.

Once you have completed configuring the basic parameters, click the "Create" button to finalize the process. The new View will be created and displayed on the main page of the application.
