Description: This section allows you to reconfigure the ringtone and other settings for the device that is currently set up.
There are six parameters that can be modified in this section:
- Internal Ringtones: this field is used to set a ringtone for internal calls by entering the name of any ringtone stored in the device's memory. Usually, stationary phones are preloaded with a range of ringtone choices. You can select a different ringtone if you know its name.
- External Ringtone: this field is used to set a ringtone for external calls by entering the name of any ringtone stored in the device's memory. You can select a different ringtone if you know its name.
- T.38: enabling this parameter grants permission for the configured device to use T.38, which is a protocol outlining the process of transmitting faxes through a computer data network.
- Hide From Contact List: this parameter is a setting in phone systems that allows the configured device to hide its contact information from being displayed in the system's contact list.
- Ignore Complete Elsewhere: when this parameter is enabled for the configured device that is part of a ring group, and another device in the same group answers an incoming call, the first device will not register the call as a missed call.
- Exclude From Queues: by enabling this parameter, you allow the configured device not to be included in any call queues that have been set up in the phone system.
Once you have changed some parameters, do not forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.
The Phone System App will display a green badge with an exclamation mark next to any field that has been modified.
The Phone System App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
