Description: Here you can set the parameters of the newly created Group.
There are two parameters in this section:
- Group Name: this field is used to set a personalized name for the recently generated Group.
There are no specific prerequisites for the name that you will input.
- Endpoints: the following form is used to assign endpoints to the configured Group. In the context of call center groups used in call flows, an "endpoint" refers to a specific Seat or Device that serves as a destination for incoming calls.
There are three main elements of this form:
- Seats/Devices: upon clicking this field, a drop-down menu will appear, offering you a selection of Seats or Devices.
- Select: this field will display a drop-down list of all the Seats or Devices available to you, based on the selection you made in the previous field. You can choose endpoints from this list.
- Plus button: pressing this button will save the designated Seat or Device as an endpoint for the configured Group.
If you do not click on the Plus button, the chosen Seat/Device will not be saved, and a new line for the next endpoint will not appear.
To remove a Seat or Device from the endpoint list, click on the Minus button next to it. A pop-up window will appear, where you should confirm the action.
Groups are not required to have only Seats or Devices. You have the freedom to combine both Seats and Devices within a Group's composition. But it is advisable to create Groups using Seats, however, in case of necessity, you may use Devices.
Once you have inputted data into the fields, do not forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.
The Phone System App will display a green badge with an exclamation mark next to any field that has been modified.
The Phone System App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
When modifying an existing Group, you can delete it by clicking the "Delete" button.
