The OE Desktop App. Faxes Overview

Description: The Ooma Enterprise Desktop App offers users a user-friendly interface for sending, receiving, and managing Faxes.  

Upon clicking on the Faxes icon located in the Left-Hand Vertical Menu Bar of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, the user interface of the Faxes Module will be displayed in the Main Space of the app. 

The Faxes Module has a user interface comprising a Fax Table, filter options, and supplementary buttons.

In the Main Space of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, there is the Table of Faxes that presents data on both incoming and outgoing faxes. The table provides specific information like the date and time of transmission, sending and receiving numbers, and the page count of each fax record.

Feel free to use the filter options available in the Main Space, along with the Search Bar located on the Top Horizontal Menu Bar of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, to either sort the records in the table or locate a specific one

Users can download faxes using the feature by clicking on the "Download" button situated within the row of the particular fax record they wish to retrieve.

To remove a specific record from the Table of Faxes, select the corresponding row and click on the "Delete" button positioned above. The button will only be enabled when at least one row is selected for deletion.

To send a fax, click on the "Send Fax" button located on the Top Horizontal Menu Bar of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App.

This action will trigger a pop-up window, where you can input the recipient's fax number and select the intended file for faxing. To do so, click on the "Choose File" button and browse for the file within your device's file system.

When exploring your device's file system, you have the capability to choose and upload only a single file at a time. 

Once you have completed filling out both fields, click on the "Send fax" button. The fax will then be sent and the relevant line will be displayed in the Table of Faxes.
