The OE Desktop App. Voicemail Overview

Description: With the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, users can access personal voicemail boxes that include features such as automatic transcription.  


Upon clicking on the Voicemail icon located in the Left-Hand Vertical Menu Bar of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, the user interface of the Voicemail Module will be displayed in the Main Space of the app.



The Voicemail Module's user interface is similar to that of typical email boxes currently available. It contains two main elements: 

  • The List of Voicemail Boxes: it indicates the name of the currently opened voicemail box. As users can access multiple voicemail boxes, accessing additional boxes you own is as easy as clicking on the name of your currently open voicemail box, which will reveal a drop-down list of all available voicemail boxes.

  • Table of Voicemails: this is the primary component of the interface, displaying unheard voicemails with a filled Play icon button and 'heard' voicemails with an outlined Play icon button.

The voicemails are arranged with the newest messages at the top, and the number of unheard messages is indicated by a white number within a blue circle next to the voicemail box's name. Users have the ability to Play, Download, or Delete voicemails.  



When the "Play" button is pressed, an audio player interface will appear, complete with a time scroll bar and transcription of the voice message.

You can also locate a complete record of voicemails in the Call History Module of the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App.
