Bulk Manager App - Interface Overview

Description: The purpose of this article is to provide a detailed overview of the interface of the Bulk Manager App.

The Bulk Manager App, an integral component of the Ooma Enterprise system, serves as a powerful tool designed to quickly onboard hundreds of users. Its main objective is to facilitate the creation of Seats in a fast and efficient manner: this app streamlines the process by allowing administrators to create a significant quantity of Seats quickly and efficiently by using CSV file. 

Upon logging into the app, users will be presented with the app interface displaying the Seat Page as the default view.

The interface can be divided into four sections:

• App Header Panel: it is used for interacting with the app and managing the users’ accounts.

This panel consists of two significant elements, some of which offer interactive functionality:

• Reload badge: when you click this badge, the app will refresh the table of existing seats if any updates have occurred since your login.
• Account Name Button: when you click this button, a drop-down menu will appear providing you two options: 

• Switch Account: this option allows you to change accounts without the need to log out. When you choose it, a pop-up window will appear within the app, asking you to input the account ID for the account you want to switch to.

• Logout: by selecting this option, you will log out the Bulk Manager App.

• Top Panel: within this panel, you will find various functional elements that enable you to manage Bulk Seats.
  

• Search Bar: it allows you to locate a specific Seat in the table of existing seats by its Seat Extension, Name, Email, Seat Type, or Phone Number.
  
• "Export" button: when you click this button, you can export all the data from the table of existing seats into a single CSV file. 

Additionally, you have the option to export a CSV file for specific Seats from the table by selecting their respective checkboxes and then clicking the "Export" button.

The Bulk Manager App allows for bulk seat editing by updating the CSV file. For further information on editing Seats, please refer to the "CSV Template" article accessible through this link.

• "Download Template" button: by pressing this button, you will initiate the download of the CSV Template file, which is the recommended format for preparing bulk Seats to be uploaded via the app. 

The CSV Template file is structured in a specific manner to arrange information in a tabular format, where each row represents a collection of parameters filled into a series of columns, which will be explained in the "CSV Template" article accessible through this link.

• "Import CSV" button: this functionality allows you to add new Seats by uploading a fresh CSV file. Simply click the "Import CSV" button and use your PC's file system to locate and upload the file from its location.

• "Update by CSV" button: this functionality allows you to update the existing Seats by uploading an updated CSV file. Simply click the "Import CSV" button and use your PC's file system to locate and upload the file from its location.

• Main space of the app: this section of the app is dedicated to presenting the table of existing seats.
  

This section is primarily for displaying data in the table of existing seats rather than interacting with it. The only action you can do here is to remove one or more Seats from the table by marking the checkboxes of the specific Seats and and clicking the "Delete" button that becomes visible when at least one Seat in the table is selected.
