The Faxes Section. The Options Tab

Description: Here you can reconfigure the advanced options of the Fax Boxes that are currently set up.

Here you can reconfigure the options of the Fax Box selected in the Table of Existing Fax Boxes located in the Faxes Section of the Phone System App:

• Retries: here you can change the number of attempts made by the fax system to transmit the fax message if the initial transmission attempt fails.

The maximum number of retries is restricted to four attempts.

• Fax Time Zone: this field enables you to change the time zone for the fax box location. 

Additionally, you can use the time zone map instead of scrolling through the drop-down list to find your desired time zone.

• T.38: if you select this checkbox, you grant permission for the device to use T.38, which is a protocol outlining the process of transmitting faxes through a computer data network.

Once you have changed some parameters, do not forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.

The Phone System App will display a green badge with an exclamation mark next to any field that has been modified.  

The Phone System App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
