The Ooma Enterprise Desktop App. SSO. Second login

Description: After the initial SSO process is finished, the system retains the user's credentials to streamline all subsequent attempts to log in to the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App.

When the user launches the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App, they will be presented with this interface.

The bottom section of this window is the SSO login form.

This form is used for performing an SSO login. This article assumes that the user has already completed their initial SSO login, during which the system has stored their credentials for the purpose of facilitating all subsequent login attempts.

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication mechanism that enables users to log in to multiple systems or applications using a single set of login credentials. With SSO, once a user has successfully logged in to one application or system, they are automatically authenticated to other applications or systems within the same SSO environment. This simplifies the login process for users, eliminates the need for multiple sets of credentials, and enhances security. SSO is widely employed in enterprise environments to provide secure and streamlined access to a variety of mission-critical applications and services.

Every login after the initial one will commence in the same manner, by clicking on the "Log in with email" button.

Next, the user will be redirected to the Internet browser set as default on their device, where they can verify their login credentials and choose the service for which the SSO has already been established.

Upon clicking the "Open" button, this window will appear confirming that no further verification is necessary.

After clicking the "Launch Application" button, the user’s Internet browser will request permission to open the given link.

Once permission is granted, the Ooma Enterprise Desktop App will be launched.

From that point on, the App is completely loaded and ready to be used.
