Description: You have the option to activate the transformation of incoming voicemails and faxes into digital files, which can then be sent from specific email addresses. Additionally, you will be notified whenever any device associated with this account is deregistered.
Location of the Accounts App
After logging in to the Admin Panel, click on the "Apps" icon located in the Top Horizontal Menu Bar.
Upon clicking the "Apps" icon, you will be directed to a new page containing a list of apps integrated into the Admin Panel. To access the Accounts App, locate its name in the list and click on it.
Next, click on the pencil icon located in the rightmost column of the row for the newly created account in the Table of Existing Accounts.
This will open a new window where you should open the Notifications Tab that is discussed in this article.
The parameters in this tab are categorized into three sections:
- Voicemail to email
- Fax to email
- Monitoring
Voicemail to email
You can indicate the email address that will appear as the sender of voicemail files by completing the "Send From" field.
If you check the box labeled "Use the same value for Fax-To-Email template," the sender email will be duplicated in the Fax to email section of this tab and become unmodifiable.
Fax to email
To specify the email address that will be displayed as the sender of digitalized fax files, you can fill out the "Send From" field. Alternatively, you can check the relevant checkbox in the Voicemail to email section to copy the email address over to the Fax to email section.
Enabling the checkbox labeled "Send notifications for inbound Fax-To-Email errors" will result in you receiving notifications from the designated email address in the event of any errors occurring during inbound Fax-To-Email transmissions.
Monitoring
The purpose of this section is to send notifications to designated email addresses whenever a device associated with this account is deregistered. If you wish to disable this function, you can uncheck the "Notify on deregister" checkbox.
Below this checkbox, there is a "Send from" field where you can enter an email address to be used as the sender of these notifications. Additionally, in the "Subject" field, you can create a template for the subjects of the notifications that will be sent.
The "Emails to Notify" parameter provides a dropdown list with two options to select from.
- Admins Only: selecting this option will automatically provide the email addresses of the admins to the App.
- Specific Addresses: By selecting this option, you can generate a list of designated email addresses that will receive the notifications.
Enabling this option will reveal a new interface element where you can input a designated email address.
To preserve the email address entered in this field, the only available option is to press the black circular button featuring a plus sign. No alternative methods exist to store this value. By clicking this button with a plus sign, you can add more lines for additional recipients.
To remove email addresses from this list, you can click on the red circular button with a minus sign that will appear next to each address
Once you have inputted data into the fields, do not forget to click on the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.
The Accounts App will display an icon of an exclamation mark within a green circle next to any fields that have been modified.
The Accounts App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
