Description: This Feature offers access to your message box, allowing you to read and send text messages..
When you access the Messages feature of the OE Biz Desktop App, you will encounter an interface that resembles the following screenshot.
The feature’s interface within the main space of the app comprises two sections: the list of conversations and the dialogue window, which displays all the messages from the selected conversation.
The lower section of the dialogue window contains five action elements:
- Paper clip badge: clicking this badge allows you to add attachments to the message. When you press this badge, a file explorer will open, prompting you to select the location of the file you want to send.
- Message field: this field is used for inputting messages
- Emoji badge: clicking on this badge will prompt a drop-up menu to appear, featuring an array of emojis. You can select an emoji by clicking on it to add it to your message.
- "Send" button: pressing this button will send the inputted message. A single attached file can be sent without an inputted message.
- Downward arrow button: this button is used to schedule a time and date for sending the inputted message.
Upon clicking it, a drop-up menu will appear, offering two random dates along with the "Custom" option. Clicking "Custom" will open a pop-up window where you can specify the desired date and time.
- "Select date" field: after clicking this field, a drop-down menu will appear, presenting the calendar page of the current month for you to select a day.
You can use the left/right arrow buttons to navigate to the previous/next month. Additionally, you can click on the month name to access a drop-down list of all months for faster selection.
- "Select time" field: upon clicking this field, a drop-down menu will appear, presenting a list of send time options with a 30-minute interval.
The top horizontal panel of the Messages feature of the OE Biz Desktop App includes four functional elements:
- Search bar: you can use the search bar to locate a message in one of the dialogues.
- "Download message history" button: clicking this button will download the message history of all the displayed conversations. When you press this button, a file explorer will open, prompting you to select the location on your PC where you want to save the message history file.
- "Delete message history" button: when you click this button, a pop-up window will appear allowing you to specify which messages should be deleted.
- "Message" button: when you click this button, the process of creating a new message will be initiated.
When you enter a message / attach a file, and press the "Send" button, a new conversation will appear in the list of conversations with the name of the receiver. If you wish to cancel sending a new message while creating it, press the X badge.
