OE Biz Desktop App. Calls Feature

DescriptionThis Feature offers access to your list of calls, allowing you to dial, send a fax, or compose a message or email with ease.


When you access the Calls feature of the OE Biz Desktop App, you will encounter an interface that resembles the following screenshot.


In the main space of the app, you will find the table of calls that is used to display data for incoming, received, and missed calls. You can rearrange the records in the table by clicking the Arrow badge next to a specific column name, allowing you to reorder them as desired.

Clicking on a record in the table of calls will open a pop-up window containing essential information about the user involved in the selected call, call information, and various action buttons enabling you to execute specific actions.


The set of action buttons may vary depending on the available information for the selected user. You may find up to four buttons in this area.

  • Call button: when you click this button, a dropdown list of all numbers associated with the selected contact will appear. Upon selecting any of them, that number will be dialed.
  • Message button: when you press this button, the Messages feature tab will be opened and the process of creating a new message will be initiated.

  • Fax button: when you press this button, the Faxes feature tab will be opened and the process of creating a new fax will be initiated.

  • Email button: clicking this button will open the default email client used in your PC's operating system and initiate the creation of a new email message. The email address of the selected user will be automatically pasted into the recipient field.


You can also locate the Information badge here. By clicking it, a contact card of the selected user will appear in a pop-up window, containing almost the same information as provided above.


The top horizontal panel of the Calls feature of the OE Biz Desktop App includes three functional elements: 


  • Search bar: you can use the search bar to locate a call within the table of calls.
  • "Export selected in CSV" button: with this button, you can download a CSV file containing the selected calls from the table of calls. To choose the calls you wish to download, hold the Shift button on your keyboard and use the left mouse button to click on the records in the table of calls. The selected records will be visually highlighted. When you press this button, a file explorer will open, prompting you to select the location on your PC where you want to save the CSV file.


  • "Download selected recordings" button: this button will only become active if you select a record in the table of calls that includes a call recording. It's easy to determine whether the record in the table of calls has a call recording stored by checking the information in the "Recording" column. Upon clicking this button, the call recording of the selected call will be downloaded.
