The Fax Box Tab. The Options Section

Description: Here you can configure the advanced options of the Fax Boxes associated with the newly created Seat.  

There are two main interface elements in this section: 

• The Delete Faxbox Panel  
• The list of parameters 

The Delete Faxbox Panel

This panel contains an action button:

• Delete Faxbox: by clicking on this button, you can delete the configured fax box. 

Upon pressing it, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to confirm your decision to delete the fax box. 

The List of Parameters

There are three parameters that can be set here: 

• Retries: it is the number of attempts made by the fax system to transmit the fax message if the initial transmission attempt fails.

The maximum number of retries is restricted to four attempts. 

• Fax Time Zone: this field enables you to choose the time zone for the fax box location.

Additionally, you can use the time zone map instead of scrolling through the drop-down list to find your desired time zone.

• T.38: if you select this checkbox, you grant permission for the device to use T.38, which is a protocol outlining the process of transmitting faxes through a computer data network.

Once you have inputted data into the fields, do not forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.  

The Phone System App will display an icon of an exclamation mark within a green circle next to any fields that have been modified.

The Phone System App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
