How to join a meeting
If you’ve been invited to a meeting, you can join in any of the ways listed in this article. Keep in mind that if you’re early, you may need to wait for the host.
Web browser
If you’d like to use a web browser, first make sure that the browser you’d like to use is supported. Once you have confirmed this, follow these instructions:
- Click the link that was provided in your invitation or navigate to meetvidi.com and type in the meeting ID that was included in the invitation you received. You may need to type in a password, which you can also find in the meeting invitation you received.
- Enter your display name and select your microphone and video settings.
- Click JOIN MEETING to move into the meeting room. If you’re early, you may be temporarily placed in a pre-meeting lobby until the meeting host arrives.
Desktop application
If you’ve installed the Ooma Enterprise desktop app, you can follow these instructions to join a meeting:
- Click the link that was provided in your invitation or and type the meeting ID that was included in your invitation. You may need to type in a password, which you can find in the meeting invitation you received.
- Enter your display name and select your microphone and video settings.
- Click JOIN MEETING to move into the meeting room.
Dial in from an iOS or Android smartphone
From a link
If you’re using an iOS or Android smartphone, you can dial into the meeting simply by tapping the link included in your invitation. The link will automatically navigate all the phone menus and will input all the necessary information.
Dial in from a landline
If you are using a landline to dial into the meeting, you can call one of the following numbers:
- United States: +1-435-990-0000
- Canada: +1-289-856-8900
You will be prompted to enter the meeting ID and then the meeting passcode, both of which are available in the meeting invitation.
