Description: The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the main login options that are available to users of the Ooma Enterprise Biz Desktop App.

When the user launches the Ooma Enterprise Biz Desktop App for the first time, they will be presented with this interface.

This window contains two distinct sections that offer two different login options for the user:

  • General Login Form (marked with a red square
  • SSO Login Form (marked with a blue square).

To determine your login method based on your access level within the network, please with your workspace administrator.

Let’s examine all the given options separately.

General Login Form

At the top of the OE Biz Desktop app window, you will find the primary General Login Form. This form operates like a standard login interface where you input your credentials

Once filled, the "Log In" button becomes active for submission.

Press the "Log In" button to complete the login process and gain access to the app.

The bottom section of the OE Biz Desktop app window contains the SSO login form.

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication mechanism that enables users to log in to multiple systems or applications using a single set of login credentials. With SSO, once a user has successfully logged in to one application or system, they are automatically authenticated to other applications or systems within the same SSO environment. This simplifies the login process for users, eliminates the need for multiple sets of credentials, and enhances security. SSO is widely employed in enterprise environments to provide secure and streamlined access to a variety of mission-critical applications and services.

Once the user clicks the "Log in with email" button for the very first time, they will be directed to the default Internet browser on their device. There, the user will be prompted to enter their email to initiate the SSO login procedure.

After entering your work email, the form will prompt you to input your password.

If you happen to forget your password, simply click on the "Forgot your password?" link. This action will prompt a pop-up window to appear above the page, where you'll need to confirm your work email and then press the "Send email" button. Follow the instructions provided in the email you receive to recover your password.

Once you have entered your credentials, press the "Log In" button to complete the login process and gain access to the app.
