Description: Here, you can set the parameters of the newly created Time of Day.
There are 12 parameters in this section:
- Name: this field is used to set a customized name for the configured Time of Day.
- Start Date: here you can set the start date of the configured Time of Day.
You have the option to manually enter the date using a numeric keyboard or select it through a calendar pop-up window that will appear if you click on the calendar badge situated on the right-hand side of the field.
- Start Time: here you can set the start time of the configured Time of Day.
You have the option to manually enter the time using a numeric keyboard or select it through a calendar pop-up window that will appear if you click on the clock badge situated on the right-hand side of the field.
Once the pop-up window appears, you can opt for AM/PM and the hour of the starting time. Then, a new pop-up window will emerge, allowing you to designate the minutes of the starting time.
To adjust the hours, you can navigate between the hour and minute windows by using the arrow buttons
- End Time: here you can set the end time of the configured Time of Day.
The configuration of this parameter is identical to setting the Start Time.
- All Day Event: by selecting this checkbox, you will extend the Time of Day to encompass a 24-hour period.
By selecting this checkbox, these fields will be adjusted correspondingly.
- Duration: this field is automatically generated to calculate the operational hours of the configured Time of Day.
- Repeats: when you click on this field, a drop-down menu will appear, offering several periodicity options to choose from.
- Every: the appearance of this field will vary depending on the option chosen in the Repeats field.
- If "Never" is selected in the Repeats field, the Every field will not be displayed.
- If "Weekly" is selected in the Repeats field, the Every field will appear as follows.
Within this field, you can define the weekly recurrence pattern for the Time of Day schedule that you have configured.
- If "Montly" is selected in the Repeats field, the Every field will appear as follows.
Within this field, you can define the monthly recurrence pattern for the Time of Day schedule that you have configured.
- If "Yearly" is selected in the Repeats field, the Every field will appear as follows.
You can use this field to choose the month in which the schedule of the configured Time of Day will operate.
- On: the appearance of this field will vary depending on the option chosen in the Repeats field.
- If "Never" is selected in the Repeats field, the On field will not be displayed.
- If "Weekly" is selected in the Repeats field, the On field will appear as follows.
You can choose the days of the week when the configured Time of Day schedule will be in effect
- If "Montly" is selected in the Repeats field, the On field will appear as follows.
The On field will be divided into two separate fields that allow you to specify the serial number and the day of the week on which the configured Time of Day schedule will be active.
- If "Yearly" is selected in the Repeats field, the On field will appear as follows.
The On field will be divided into two separate fields that allow you to specify the serial number and the day of the week of the selected month on which the configured Time of Day schedule will be active.
- End Date: here you can set the end date of the configured Time of Day.
The configuration of this parameter is identical to setting the Start Date.
- No End Date: this checkbox, when selected, will make the scheduled Time of Day ongoing without a specific end date, and the End Date field will be disabled.
- Enabled: when you click on this field, a dropdown menu will appear presenting three options to select from.
- Based on Time: choosing this option will cause the configured Time of Day to follow its assigned schedule.
- Forced On / Forced Off: each option provided will enable or disable the configured Time of Day upon receiving the corresponding command. These commands can be integrated into call flows using the Enable Time of Day and Disable Time of Day Action Blocks.
For example, there is a regular meeting in a company that occurs on different days and times each week. In this case, you could set a Time of Day condition for the duration of the meeting. When it's time to start the meeting, you can activate the “Forced On” parameter, and calls will be routed accordingly based on the configured condition.
Once you have changed some parameters, do not forget to click the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.
The Phone System App will display a green badge with an exclamation mark next to any field that has been modified.
The Phone System App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
