Description: The main purpose of this tab is to display a list of SMS boxes linked to the configured Seat.
The SMS Tab consists of two main interface elements:
- The Table of Existing SMS Boxes: even if all required fields in the Seat tab are completed, the Table of Existing SMS Boxes in the SMS tab should be empty when initially accessing this section.
To add an SMS Box to the Seat, you can click on the "Add SMS" or "Create SMS Box" button mentioned below and proceed with the steps.
The "Add SMS" and "Create SMS Box" buttons can only be activated if a certain prerequisite is met. Specifically: - the account and phone numbers must be registered with "The Campaign Registry" (please contact account management or Ooma support to do this); - the Seat in which the SMS box is to be created must have an assigned number. If the "Phone Number" field in the Seat Tab is left blank, the buttons will not be functional. In this case, a tooltip message will pop up if you hover your mouse over the disabled buttons, informing you that "There is no phone number available for creating SMS box."
- The action buttons: this button enables you to add an SMS Box to the Seat.
The function performed by the "Create SMS Box" button is the same as the "Add SMS", but it can only be accessed when the Table of Existing SMS Boxes is empty.
Once you have created at least one SMS box, the "Add SMS" button will be the only option available.
When you click on any of these buttons, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to confirm the creation of an SMS box associated with the phone number assigned to you in the Seat Tab.
Upon clicking the "Continue" button, a new window will appear in the tab, allowing you to navigate through a single section for configuring the recently generated SMS box.
