Modified on Tue, May 30, 2023 at 12:04 PM

Description: You can attach notes and announcements to the accounts you create.

Location of the Accounts App

After logging in to the Admin Panel, click on the "Apps" icon located in the Top Horizontal Menu Bar.

Upon clicking the "Apps" icon, you will be directed to a new page containing a list of apps integrated into the Admin Panel. To access the Accounts App, locate its name in the list and click on it.

Next, click on the pencil icon located in the rightmost column of the row for the newly created account in the Table of Existing Accounts

This will open a new window where you should open the Notes Tab that is discussed in this article.

The Notes Tab of the new account settings contains two optional fields:

1. The Announcement field.

Any text you enter into this field will display as a pop-up message whenever someone logs into this account. The size of this field is restricted to a maximum of 500 characters. To see the announcement set for this account, you need to log in with the admin seat of that account.

Feel free to use these buttons for basic text formatting:

Several keyboard shortcuts for text formatting also work:
Ctrl + B to make the selected text "bold"
Ctrl + I to make the selected text "italic"
Ctrl + U to underline the selected text
Shift + Return to add a new line
Return to add a new paragraph.

2. The Notes field

Any text you enter into this field will display in the Basic Tab of the Account parameters.

The notes will be displayed in the Basics Tab in the following manner.

Similarly to the Announcement field, the Notes field has a maximum limit of 500 characters, and the text formatting buttons and shortcuts referenced above are also functional here.

Once you have inputted data into the fields, do not forget to click on the "SAVE" button to apply the changes.

The Accounts App will display an icon of an exclamation mark within a green circle next to any fields that have been modified. In the Notes and Announcements fields, the pictogram will appear next to the character counters.

The Accounts App will notify you that leaving the page will result in the loss of any unsaved changes.
