Bulk Manager App - Event Logs Tab

Description: The purpose of this article is to provide a detailed overview of the Event Logs Tab within the Bulk Manager App.


The Bulk Manager App, an integral component of the Ooma Enterprise system, serves as a powerful tool designed to quickly onboard hundreds of users. Its main objective is to facilitate the creation of Seats in a fast and efficient manner: this app streamlines the process by allowing administrators to create a significant quantity of Seats quickly and efficiently by using CSV templates


Upon logging into the app, users will be presented with the app interface displaying the Configuration tab as the default view. To access the Event Logs tab, simply choose it from the left-hand menu of the Bulk Manager app.


The interface can be divided into two sections:

  • App Header Panel: it is used for interacting with the app and managing the users’ accounts. It contains just one functional element:

  • Search Bar: it is used to locate a specific Event within the table of existing events based on its parameters such as date, time, type, number of Seats, or additional information.
  • Table of existing events: this table compiles a record of all the Events that have occurred while using this Bulk Manager app with your account.


There are six distinct types of events, specifically:
- Create successful, 
- Create failed, 
- Delete successful, 
- Delete failed, 
- Update successful, 
- Update failed. 

The article concerning the Configuration tab has already provided a comprehensive review and description of the "Create" function. Similarly, the article pertaining to the Seats tab has detailed the functionalities of the "Delete" and "Update" functions.


By clicking on the "Details" icon, a pop-up window will appear, displaying the specific details of the selected Event.


Regardless of the selected event type, all event detail windows will follow the same pattern of parameters.


  • Date: this field displays the date of the selected event.
  • Time: this field displays the time of the selected event.
  • Type: this field indicates one of the six event types to which the selected event belongs.
  • Number of seats: here you can find the number of Seats that were created, deleted, or updated during the selected event.
  • Details: within this section, you can access a list of user names and extension numbers for each Seat that has been associated with the selected event.


At the bottom of the window, you will find two buttons.

  • "Download summary" button: when you press this button, a CSV file containing the Seats that were created, deleted, or updated during the selected event will be downloaded.
  • "Dismiss" button: by clicking this button, you can close the dialog window.
